U.S. Communist Party
The Communist Party was formed in the U.S. in 1919. A few months later, it had 60,000 members. It was influential in the U.S. labor movement in 1920’s through 1940’s and active in anti-racist activity in U.S. The Party has no influence on the U.S. government today.

U.S. Communist Party Still Exists
The Communist Party still exists in the U.S. today under the leadership of Sam Webb who claims membership to over 15,000.
